The Japanese Communist Party is determined to work hard together with the general public to pass on Japan’s post-war pacifist reputation to the next generation and hamper any attempt to open the path to become a war-fighting nation.
Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira commented on the event in which some of South Korean parliamentarians went to Takeshima Island, and criticized the act for unnecessarily increasing tensions between Japan and South Korea.
The Abe government is pressing Okinawans to accept new U.S. military facilities which will support the Marines’ global assault function. Such a politically irresponsible stance is totally unacceptable.
