On 77th anniversary of war’s end, let’s unite to frustrate attempt to turn Japan into ‘nation fighting wars’

In the 15-year war of aggression which started with Japan’s invasion of northeastern China in 1931, more than three million people in Japan and over 20 million people in the rest of Asia were killed. The pledge not to repeat the tragedies of war constitutes the very foundation of postwar Japan.

Kishida administration unable to form Cabinet of lawmakers without Moonies links

In the reshuffled Kishida Cabinet, seven Cabinet members admitted to their links with the Moonies. This indicates that the LDP can no longer find prospective Cabinet members who have no relationship with the controversial organization.
