Koike denounces North Korea's escalating military provocations

JCP Secretariate Head Koike Akira protested against North Korea's launch of ballistic missiles several days in a row and pointed out that North Korea's escalating military provocations "are threatening peace and security in East Asia and the rest of the word".

JCP submits to WFP \5 million in donations for Turkey/Syria quake victims

JCP member of the House of Councilors Inoue Satoshi visited the UN World Food Programme (WFP) Japan Relation Office and submitted five million yen in donations that the JCP had collected for relief to earthquake sufferers in Turkey and Syria.

Bikini Atoll tragedy the origin of Japan's antinuke movements

The United States on March 1, 1954 conducted a massive hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll in the South Pacific. Many Japanese fishermen and local islanders were exposed to a large amount of radiation fallout from the test explosion.
