On 78th anniversary of war’s end, to realize a government preparing for peace is urgently needed

After the war’s end, Japan made a fresh start with the pledge not to repeat the tragedy of war. The most urgent task is to increase the public movement aimed at putting an end to the present government attempt to turn Japan yet again into a war-fighting nation.

Civil Alliance to JCP: for policies which fully put into practice Article 9 and 13 of the Constitution

The Civil Alliance handed JCP Chair Shii Kazuo a written request calling on the party to realize policies which put into practice Article 9 and Article 13 of the Constitution in cooperation with concerned citizens and other constitutional opposition parties.

Shii criticizes remarks LDP vice president made in Taiwan

JCP Chair Shii in his social media post wrote that LDP vice president Aso claims that to show the "resolve to fight" will be a "deterrence", but he does not seem to understand that to convey the "will to fight" itself will enhance the risk of war.
