JCP-CPV theoretical exchange meeting ends

November 10, 2010
The Japanese Communist Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam on November 9 held the second day session of theoretical exchange at the JCP head office.

JCP Social Sciences Institute Director Fuwa Tetsuzo, head of the JCP delegation, gave his opinion that Vietnam is heading toward socialism through practical experiences in a market economy.

Fuwa also said that it is important for the CPV to make efforts on every occasion to prove to the Vietnamese people that the pursuit of socialism enables their government to work in the interests of all its citizens.

CPV delegation head To Huy Rua, a Politburo member and chairman of the Communist Party Central Theoretical Council, said that he has attached importance to Fuwa’s remarks: the CPV needs to become a communist party consisting of party members who have an ability to give a convincing explanation to the people at the grassroots level. Rua also expressed his hope for continuing with the talks on theoretical issues between the two parties.
