Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on March 16 met with Syrian Ambassador to Japan Mohamed Ghassan Al Habash at the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Tokyo.

Ogata explained about the proceedings and results of the JCP 25th Congress. He also explained that the JCP puts special emphasis on an effort to work to abolish nuclear weapons.
