JCP Chair Fuwa attends Turkish Embassy's reception

Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Fuwa Tetsuzo on October
29 attended a reception held in Tokyo by the Turkish Embassy to celebrate
the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

Fuwa exchanged greetings with Turkish Ambassador Yaman Baskut and had
conversations with other ambassadors.

Discussing issues related to Afghanistan and international terrorism,
ambassadors told Fuwa that they were interested in the letters jointly sent
by Fuwa and JCP Executive Committee Chair Shii Kazuo to world leaders
calling for justice to eliminate terrorism. (end)
