JCP Fuwa receives outgoing Lao ambassador

Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Fuwa Tetsuzo on October
29 received Ambassador Thongsay Bodhisane of the Lao People's Democratic
Republic (who is leaving Japan) at the JCP head office.

Fuwa expressed thanks for his six years as the Lao ambassador to Japan,
referring to the fact that the JCP and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party
restored their relations during Ambassador Bodhisane's stay. He also said
that the JCP hopes that the two Asian parties will further develop mutual
cooperation. (end)
