Shii meets with new Hong Kong economic representative in Tokyo

Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on May 23 had a meeting in the Diet Building with Fong Chi-wai, Economic and Trade Office (Tokyo) principal representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

Congratulating Fong on the fifth anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China (July 1) and the establishment of the special administrative region, Shii expressed hope that the economies of China and Hong Kong stimulate each other and continue to develop under the "two systems in one country." (end)
