800 high school students learn real sufferings of Hibakusha

About 800 high school students learned the real tragedy and sufferings of Hibakusha at the 29th Peace Meeting of High School Students in Hiroshima City.

They discussed issues on Japan's Self-Defense Forces, the U.S. military bases, human rights, discrimination, peace in school life, war responsibility, historical perception, and global Hibakusha. They adopted an appeal against terrorism, retaliatory wars, and war cooperation. (end)
