Meeting with Chinese Academy of Social Sciences president

Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Fuwa Tetsuzo met with Li Tieying, president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and member of the Political Bureau of a Communist Party of China, at the Great People's Hall, Beijing on the evening of August 28.

Li expressed gratitude for the lecture Fuwa gave on the previous day at the academy. Fuwa said he has read the book written by Li's father on the experience of the united front in China.

Fuwa and Li discussed various topics from the economy to the environment for about two and a half hours over dinner in a friendly atmosphere. (end)
