U.S. marine smuggles gun

The Urasoe City Police in Okinawa Prefecture on August 29 sent a report to the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Naha City on a U.S. military personnel who was suspected of smuggling a gun into Japan.

Police say that the suspect, a 23-year-old marine stationed at U.S. Camp Hansen, brought a bootleg gun into Japan from the Philippines. (end)
