Fuwa's seminar on Capital ends
Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Fuwa Tetsuzo on December 16 finished the last lecture of his one-year-seminar on Capital at JCP headquarters.
In the 21st and last session, 6 students stated their impressions of the seminar, including the oldest participant, 76-year-old JCP lawmaker Matsumoto Zenmei, and the youngest, Hara Tsutomu, 21-year-old JCP Tokyo Sumida Ward Committee member. Fuwa received about 180 letters from participants giving their comments on his lectures.
Fuwa said that it was the first time in the JCP's 80-year history that such a big group of the party's key members studied Capital together.
Referring to a journalist stating at the Akahata Festival version of the seminar, "By watching a large crowd of people surrounding Fuwa and listening to his lecture, I realized the JCP's potential power," the CC chair stressed that the seminar was very meaningful in the current situation facing Japan's political parties.
Fuwa finished his last lecture by handing each student a certificate on which he wrote their names. (end)
