British embassy official visits JCP

Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Director Nishiguchi Hikaru on January 18 received the British Embassy's new second secretary, Marie-Clair Joyce at the JCP head office and explained the JCP Program, domestic and foreign policies, and its activities. He emphasized the importance of pursuing a peaceful resolution to the Iraq problem based on the United Nations Charter. (end)
