People with disabilities protest against adverse revision of home help service system
About 1,200 disabled people and their helpers on January 16 filled the front entrance of the Health, Labor, and Welfare Ministry in protest against the ministry's plan to limit the hours of home help service for the disabled.
Fujii Katsunori of the Japan Council on Disability stated that the government must not adversely revise the service system which was achieved through the struggles of disabled people.
