JCP Ogata talks with Malaysian minister
The Japanese Communist Party's International Bureau Director Ogata Yasuo on February 17 visited Ibrahim Abdullah, minister of the Malaysian Embassy in Tokyo.
Ogata will attend the 13th Conference of Heads of State or Government of the Non-Aligned Countries, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a member of the Japan Asia Africa Latin America Solidarity Committee (JAALA) delegation.
Explaining the process of preparations for the XIII NAM Summit, Abdullah expressed the significance of the conference in light of the present international situation.
They exchanged views on the Iraq and Middle East issues. (end)
