JCP Ogata meets with Lao ambassador
Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Director Ogata Yasuo (House of Councilors member) and Vice-Director Kasai Akira on February 17 had dinner with Lao Ambassador Soukthavone Keola.
The JCP members, who visited Laos last November, and the ambassador confirmed that the visit made a great contribution to improving relationships between the JCP and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, as well as with the Lao government.
They exchanged opinions about the situation in Asia, including in Japan and Laos. (end)
