JCP delegation to China meets with CPC representatives
Ogata Yasuo, Japanese Communist Party International Bureau director, led a JCP delegation visiting China from August 13-17 at the invitation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) International Department.
On August 13, Ogata held talks with He Guoqiang, CPC Political Bureau member, in the Great Hall of the People. Topics ranged from relations between the two parties to international questions.
Ogata also held talks with Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC, to discuss issues of peace in East Asia and elsewhere in the world.
On August 14, the JCP delegation visited Dai Bingguo, vice foreign minister, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. (end)
