JCP Ogata visits Malaysian ambassador
Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Director Ogata Yasuo on October 6 visited the Malaysian Embassy in Tokyo and had talks with Ambassador Marzuki Mohammad Noor.
Ogata told the ambassador that he will participate as an "invited guest" in the Organization of Islamic Conferences (OIC) Summit 2003 from October 16 to 18 and its ministerial preparatory meeting from October 13 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Congratulating Ogata, Mohammad explained the significance of the OIC Summit taking place under the current world situation.
JCP International Bureau Vice-director Kanda Yonezo accompanied Ogata, who is also a House of Councilors member. (end)
