Fuwa meets with CPV theoretical review editor

Japanese Communist Party Central Committee Chair Fuwa Tetsuzo on May 11 held talks with Le Huu Nghia, editor-in-chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam theoretical review journal "Tap chi Cong san" at the JCP head office in Tokyo.

Nghia, who was leading a delegation visiting Japan, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit the JCP Central Committee and ask questions concerning the JCP's views on the current world situation, outlook on socialism, characteristics of the present-day Japanese situation, and theoretical points in the JCP's new program.

Fuwa, welcoming the group of Vietnamese experts in politics, economy, and theory as well as Tap chi Cong san Editor Nghia, responded to Nghia's questions.

He explained that in revising the JCP program at the 23rd Congress in January, the JCP gave in-depth consideration from various angles regarding the state of affairs in Japan and the world and the prospects of future society under socialism or communism.

Nghia extended his gratitude to Fuwa for giving a detailed explanation on the outlook of future development and expressed his hopes that JCP-CPV relations will be further developed.

JCP International Bureau Director Nishiguchi Hikaru and Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Chu Tuan Cap were also present at the talk. (end)
