Democratic organizations stage petition to Diet On January 21, the day this year's ordinary Diet session opened, about 500 people from trade unions and various democratic organizations walked in demonstration to the Diet to petition that the government give up its plan to shift an extra 7 trillion yen burden onto the people. They also expressed opposition to the adverse revision of the Constitution.
