CPI(M) lawmaker visits JCP head office Mohammad Salim, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Central Committee member, visited Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Director Nishiguchi Hikaru on May 28. In the meeting, Nishiguchi explained the present Japanese political situation, Japan's foreign policy issues, and the JCP's present tasks. Salim, who is also a member of the Indian parliament, spoke about relations between India, including West Bengal, and Japan, and about future development of friendship and solidarity between the two peoples.
