JCP donates earthquake relief money to Pakistan

Japanese Communist Party Vice-Chair Ogata Yasuo visited the Pakistani embassy in Tokyo on February 20 and handed 1.55 million yen to Pakistani Ambassador Kamaran Niaz in donation for the relief of the victims of the earthquake that hit northern Pakistan last year.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the donation, and said that the cold weather has caused illness among the survivors and that continuous international support is needed. The JCP has so far given 14.1 million yen in three donations.
