JCP Kasai meets with Irish counsellor

Kasai Akira, Japanese Communist Party International Bureau Vice Director and House of Representatives member, on March 7 visited the Irish Embassy in Tokyo and expressed his gratitude to Counsellor Gerard Keown for attending the JCP 24th Congress held in January.

Kasai said that he pays attention to Ireland's position of attaching importance to the United Nations and its work as a member of the New Agenda Coalition calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons. He talked with Keown about ways to achieve a world order for peace.
