Mayor reiterates his objection to the coming of U.S. mid-air refueling aircraft Mayor Yamashita Sakae of Kanoya City in Kagoshima Prefecture reiterated his opposition to the plan to relocate mid-air refueling aircraft from the U.S. Marine Corps Futenma Air Station in Okinawa to the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Kanoya Base in the city.
