JCP vice-chair attends farewell party for Indian ambassador Japanese Communist Party Vice-Chair Ogata Yasuo on April 3 attended a farewell reception for Indian Ambassador to Japan Manilal Tripathi at the Embassy of India in Tokyo. Ogata appreciated Tripathi's efforts during his three-year term of office and his contribution in developing JCP-India relations such as sending an Indian diplomat to the JCP 24th Congress in January. Tripathi in reply expressed his hope to maintain good relations with the JCP. - Akahata, April 4, 2006 |
