JCP Chair Shii to attend 4th ICAPP in Seoul A Japanese Communist Party delegation led by JCP Chair Shii Kazuo will attend the 4th International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) scheduled for September 7-10 in Seoul, South Korea. The JCP delegation will consist of JCP Chair Shii Kazuo (House of Representatives member), JCP Vice Chair and International Bureau Director Ogata Yasuo (House of Councilors member), and International Bureau Deputy Director Kasai Akira (House of Representatives member). The 4th ICAPP in Seoul will be held under the theme "Peace and Prosperity in Asia," with several workshops on the sub-themes of "Regional security and political stability," "Poverty reduction and good governance," and "Building an Asian community." - Akahata, June 16, 2006 |
