 JCP Nishiguchi meets with South African Embassy counsellorJapanese Communist Party International Bureau Acting Director Nishiguchi Hikaru on July 26 met with Counsellor of the South African Embassy Nelia Barnard at the JCP headquarters. Nishiguchi said that the JCP pays attention to the South African government because it takes on active roles in the Non-Aligned Movement and the New Agenda Coalition, and that the JCP has developed friendly relations with the government, its embassy in Japan, the ruling African National Congress, and the South African Communist Party. He also mentioned that the JCP has a strong interest in issues that African countries are facing. They expressed their hope to continue to promote their cooperation. - Akahata, July 27, 2006 |
