Prime Minister Koizumi's political stance is outrageous in that it goes against the present international order built on deep remorse over the war of aggression waged by Japan.

JCP ICHIDA CRITICIZES LDP ABE'S VIEW ON CONSTITUTION
Ichida said, "How dangerous it is for Mr. Abe to criticize the Constitution's preamble, the fundamental spirit where post-war Japan started, as a 'written apology'."

TOWARD CONCLUSION OF TREATY TOTALLY BANNING NUCLEAR WEAPONS
The World Conference against A & H Bombs adopted the "Letter to the United Nations and All Member States: Call for Immediate Start of Negotiations Toward Conclusion of a Treaty Totally Banning Nuclear Weapons."
