JCP Shii meets with Chinese councilor

On August 30, Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo met at the JCP head office with Councilor at the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo Lin Li who has just assumed the post. JCP vice chair Ogata Yasuo joined them.

Lin said that the Communist Party of China appreciates the significant results of a theoretical exchange held between the JCP and the CPC in May.

Shii in return said that he is glad of the advances made in the theoretical exchange between the two parties as they share a common world outlook, and that the JCP hopes to continue theoretical exchanges as a long-term project.

Shii and Lin also spoke about the relations of the two parties as well as recent political developments in Japan.
