Abe Cabinet is hawkish and dangerous: JCP Ichida Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Ichida Tadayoshi at a news conference on September 26 described the new Abe Cabinet as hawkish and dangerous. Commenting on the new cabinet and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party leadership both installed on the same day, Ichida stated, "These lineups clearly embody their stance to promote Abe's peculiar and dangerous political beliefs concerning basic issues directly affecting Japan's future course such as the understanding of history and the revision of the Constitution and the Fundamental Law of Education."
