Shii meets CPV delegation at Akahata Festival site At the Akahata Festival site in Tokyo on November 3, Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo met with Tran Quang Nhiep, who was taking part in the festival as a representative of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Nhiep is a sub editor-in-chief of the CPV theoretical magazine "Tap chi Cong san." Shii expressed his gratitude for the participation of the CPV delegation. Referring to the history of solidarity that the JCP and the CPV have fostered through their struggles, Shii expressed his hope for the success of the building of socialism through the development of the market economy in Vietnam. Nhiep in reply said that he was very impressed by the festival, and emphasized the importance attached to the deep relations between the two parties. - Akahata, November 4, 2006 |
