Ogata attends reception celebrating Chinese Culture Festival Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on November 17 attended a reception in Tokyo to celebrate the opening of the 2006 Chinese Culture Festival. This month-long festival, co-sponsored by the Japanese government and the Chinese Embassy in Japan, is a series of events introducing Chinese culture held in many parts of Japan.
