Ogata attends farewell reception for Laotian ambassador Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo attended a farewell reception for Laotian Ambassador to Japan Soukthavone Keola held at the Laotian Embassy in Tokyo on December 12. During his term of office of five years, Keola has contributed to promoting exchanges between the JCP and Laos by attending the JCP 23rd and 24th Congresses as a foreign guest and arranged the visit of a JCP delegation headed by Ogata to Laos in November 2002. Ogata expressed to the ambassador his appreciation for his friendship and service. Expressing thanks to Ogata, Keola said, "We wish to continue to develop our relations with you." - Akahata, December 13, 2006 |
