LDP Secretary General Ibuki received funds from deficit-ridden company

 

   A Liberal Democratic Party branch headed by LDP Secretary General Ibuki Bunmei received 120,000 yen of political donations every year between 2000 and 2006 from a hotel in Kyoto that ran deficits for nine years from 1997, according to this officefs funds reports.

 

   The Political Fund Control Law prohibits politicians from receiving donations from a company that runs deficits for more than three years in a row.
