JCP Shii talks with CPC Wang Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on November 9 held talks with Wang Jiarui, head of the Communist Party of China Central Committee International Department, in the Diet building and exchanged views with him on political and economic issues in both countries as well as on JCP-CPC relations. Wang outlined the present social conditions in China, political and economic outlook for China and the world, and challenges facing the CPC as a governing party of China at the 60th anniversary of Peoplefs Republic of China. Shii offered his congratulations on Chinafs 60th founding anniversary and said, gThere was some confusion during these 60 years in your country and also in the JCP-CPC relations,h adding that the Chinese Revolution 60 years ago and Chinafs efforts in its policy of reform and opening-up in these 30 years have been significant. Shii talked about the recent political developments in Japan and the JCPfs role in constructively dealing with the government as an opposition party.
