U.S. marine arrested for trespassing armed with knife Yamaguchi Police on December 27 arrested a U.S. Marine on suspicion of trespassing and possessing a knife on the property of a residential house in Iwakuni City. According to police, the 31-year-old captain stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps Iwakuni Air Station in Yamaguchi Prefecture admitted to the charge, saying he was drunk at the time. The suspect at around 3:00 a.m. on December 27 climbed up on the roof of a house and possessed a folding knife with a 7.7-centimeter length blade. - Akahata, December 28, 2009 |
