U.S. marine arrested for indecent assault The Naha Police of Okinawa Prefecture on August 4 arrested a soldier with the U.S. Marine Corps, for indecent assault and trespass. The suspect reportedly denied the charges. The suspect is said to have followed the victim, who was on her way home to her apartment in the city, and forced his way into her room. At her cry for help, a neighbor called the police. According to the police, the two are strangers to each other. -Akahata, August 5, 2010
