Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira on October 3 attended a reception which the South Korean Embassy in Japan held in Tokyo to celebrate South Korea’s National Foundation Day known as Gaecheonjeol.

Koike greeted South Korean Ambassador to Japan Yun Dukmin and had friendly conversations with domestic and foreign guests.

Along with Koike, JCP members of the House of Representatives Kokuta Keiji and Kasai Akira and JCP members of the House of Councilors Kira Yoshiko and Inoue Satoshi took part in the reception.
