Aichi JCP holds talks with Mindan regarding a society protecting every one’s fundamental human rights

July 23, 2024

A group of Japanese Communist Party Aichi Prefectural Committee members on July 22 held talks with the Korean Residents Union in Japan (Mindan) Aichi local at the Mindan local’s head office in Nagoya City.

JCP member of the House of Representatives Motomura Nobuko participated in the talks.

Handing over a copy of the JCP pamphlet, “Proposals for Peace Creation in East Asia” to Mindan officials, the JCP Aichi organization chair, Ishiyama Jun’ichi, explained about the JCP efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement of issues in East Asia. He also said that the JCP works hard to realize a society where every one’s human rights are respected and protected.

Motomura talked about the JCP’s fight in the Diet to oppose the adverse revision of the Immigration Control Act.

Mindan Aichi head Ha Yoon-sil said that he is aware of the fact that the JCP strives hard for realizing local suffrage for permanent foreign residents in Japan.
