Japanese Communist Party Secretariat Head Koike Akira on September 30 attended a reception to welcome Park Cheol-hee, South Korean ambassador to Japan, who in August assumed his new assignment in Japan.

The reception took place in Tokyo, co-hosted by the Japan-ROK parliamentarians union and the Japan-Korea Friendship Association Federation.

Along with Koike, JCP Diet Policy Commission Chair Kokuta Keiji, JCP member of the House of Representatives Kasai Akira, and Secretary General of JCP’s House of Councilors members Inoue Satoshi also attended the reception. They welcomed the ambassador’s arrival and exchanged friendly greetings with the ambassador.
