Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo on May 27 visited the South Korean Embassy in Tokyo to offer his condolences on the death of former South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun.
Shii signed the book of condolences, offered flowers and incense, and made a bow to a portrait of the deceased.
Shii said to South Korean Ambassador to Japan Kwon Chul-Hyun, “I felt shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of the former president. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and to the people of South Korea.”
