Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo condemned the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, on November 27 at a news conference on the same day.
Shii said, “I’d like to offer my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, including a Japanese citizen, and express sympathy to the injured people.”
He said, “Under no pretext can acts of terrorism killing people indiscriminately be condoned.”
The JCP chair said that acts of terrorism should be dealt with by the police and the judiciary system.”
