Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on March 27 met with Wu Yin, president of the China Society of History of Sino-Japanese Relations (CASS), at the JCP headquarters in Tokyo.
Ogata and Wu, who is also the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, exchanged their opinions on various topics, including the current condition and future direction of Japan-China relations, the historical view of the Japanese government, the wartime “comfort women” issue, the Six-Party Talks, and peace and stability in East Asia.
