Japanese Communist Party Vice Chair Ogata Yasuo on June 23 met with Philippine Ambassador to Japan Domingo L. Siazon Jr. at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo.

Ogata reported on the exchange of views between JCP Chair Shii Kazuo and Libran N. Cabactulan, President of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference held in New York City in May.

Ogata expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Siazon’s help to realize the JCP’s attendance at the NPT Review Conference.

The Ambassador talked about his impressions of the NPT Review Conference to which he headed the Philippine delegation.
