A feminist action group visited JCP Vice Chair Kurabayashi Akiko at the JCP head office, demanding the utilization of the group’s report on a survey of bullying and harassment in local legislatures targeting women politicians.
JCP Secretariat Head Koike Akira said, "Even after many controversial ties with the Moonies were revealed, PM Kishida is refusing to hold a Diet session to discuss this issue among others. It is unbelievable.”
Five opposition parties and a parliamentary group in the House of Representatives jointly submitted a written request to Speaker of the House of Representatives Hosoda Hiroyuki, demanding that an extraordinary session of the Diet be convened swiftly.
