JCP 29th Congress begins

The Japanese Communist Party 29th Congress began on January 15 at the JCP Izu Study Hall in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Vice Chair Tamura Tomoko gave the Central Committee report on the draft resolution.

JCP deplores bombings by US and UK against targets in Yemen

Japanese Communist Party Chair Shii Kazuo issued the statement deploring the bombings by the U.S. and U.K. against targets in Yemen and calling for diplomatic efforts to prevent a further escalation of the Middle East situation.
