Disgracefully, Japan again received a failing mark in the Global Gender Gap Index 2024 recently released by the World Economic Forum. In the report covering 146 countries, Japan ranked 118.
Two adverse bills related to foreigners living and working in Japan were enacted with majority votes, while the JCP voted against both bills on the grounds that they would trample on the human rights of non-Japanese residents and foreign trainees.
JCP Chair Tamura Tomoko said that the party will work hard to put an end to the current Tokyo administration led by Koike Yuriko whose polices are just an identical copy of anti-people LDP policies.
