JCP Chair Tamura, after the 213th ordinary Diet session was adjourned, in her address to the JCP Dietmembers’ general assembly called for strengthening the joint struggle between opposition parties and concerned citizens to oust the LDP-led government.

The official campaign period for the July 7 Tokyo gubernatorial election started. The opposition party/citizens-backed candidate called for reforming the Tokyo government to support Tokyoites, especially young people, struggling with the cost of living crisis.
