Osaka City Mayor Hashimoto Toru conducted a survey of municipal workers’ political beliefs. He intends to change the city government from one working for citizens’ welfare to one working in the capacity of secret police to monitor the political inclinations of residents.
Four IBM Japan workers have been fighting in court, claiming damages arising from IBM Japan’s violation of fundamental human rights by forcing them to resign.
